We are now in the surroundings of the Caserío de las Encinas, a group of rural buildings that reflects the traditional way of life linked to the agricultural and livestock use of the land. Although these constructions may be unused or semi-abandoned today, they are a testimony to vernacular architecture and the intelligent use of available resources.
The farmhouse is surrounded by cleared holm oak groves and pastures, highlighting its function as an operational center for agro-livestock activities. This environment also provides favorable conditions for a wide variety of fauna, since we can find both species typical of open areas and others strictly forest-dwelling. The buildings themselves are interesting, as their roofs and the gaps in their deteriorated walls are used by numerous bird species to build their nests.
The conservation and enhancement of this type of infrastructure play an important role in safeguarding our heritage and cultural landscape, while also serving as an attraction for rural tourism.
