In the final stretch of the route, we approach the village of Urraca Miguel, located at the foot of the Sierra de Ojos Albos. Open spaces dominate the surroundings, and the holm oak forest becomes increasingly sparse and less dense. However, in this last section it regains special prominence, as we find numerous large holm oaks that have stood here for several hundred years.
Most of the area consists of cattle farms, similar to dehesas, with truly unique specimens distinguished by the shape of their crowns, the width of their trunks, or other features shaped by centuries of growth. Some of these trees serve as excellent vantage points for various bird species to survey their hunting grounds or build their nests. In fact, in this environment a fascinating colony of storks thrives, nesting on several holm oaks in the higher part of the area, towards the south of the path, before reaching Urraca Miguel.
