This Potter’s workshop was used until the 19th century for the industrial manufacture of ceramic pots; it was located inside
the walls. The suburb of El Adaja was an industrial area owing to the fact that it was near the river: furnaces, tanneries, dyer’s shops, textile, fulling and other mills.
